Activities

The children here at Hollidaysburg Catholic are encouraged to become actively involved in extracurricular activities.  Each student should realize however, when one commits themselves to an activity then they have an obligation to put forth the best effort possible, both for themselves and for the others who are participating in this activity.  It is understood that academic performance takes precedence over their involvement in extracurricular activities.

            Eligibility:

-          Participation in activities is a privilege for the students in good standing and should be regulated.

-          Students who participate in any sport related activity must obey all rules of the Altoona Parochial League and Bishop Guilfoyle High School.

-          In order for a student to participate in an activity, a student must attend school on the day of the practice or activity.

Any student participating in an extracurricular activity must be passing all subjects.  Education must come first.  Each student must be working to his or her ability and complete assignments given.  If this is not followed a student will be given a warning first followed by a week suspension from all school related activities.
